Should I stick to the six-month dental checkup and cleaning schedule?
Yes! Seeing your dentist every six months is one of the best ways to keep your smile looking and feeling its best year-round. Allowing our team to examine your teeth, gums, bite, and oral structures ensures that you are not suffering from tooth decay, damage, gum disease, or any other serious issue that might plague more than just your mouth. And if we do find issues, we can quickly address them before your symptoms worsen.
Can I receive Botox?
It depends. You will be required to schedule a consultation with a member of our team before moving forward with this type of treatment. Botox and dermal fillers are great for creating a more youthful appearance, but it is also helpful for anyone who might be dealing with the chronic jaw pain caused by temporomandibular disorder (TMD). You will need to be in good overall health to receive Botox, which you and your dentist will discuss during your appointment.
Will my root canal hurt?
Root canals are misinterpreted to be painful procedures, but they are not. These treatments are necessary when dealing with a painful tooth infection or serious damage. The reason for the pain is the infection that reaches the pulp, so by removing it, we can help to alleviate that extreme discomfort. However, after this type of procedure, you can expect to feel some soreness, which over-the-counter pain relievers can help to address. Any discomfort you feel after a root canal is likely to dissipate within a few days.
Will I need a referral for dental implants?
No, we are able to place and restore dental implants in-house, so you will not need to go elsewhere to have your permanent prosthetics put into place. This is one of the reasons we are eager to keep our services in one convenient location, as we know it means a lot to our patients to be able to receive all their dental care from the same familiar faces.
Will you take my dental insurance?
Yes! We are in-network with many PPO dental insurance companies, so we are more than happy to help you maximize your benefits while also filling out necessary claims and paperwork, so you don’t have to. Our team can answer your questions, review your policy, and help you get the most out of it so that your out-of-pocket expenses remain low.
Are there other payment options available if I don’t have dental insurance?
Yes, you have the option to enroll in flexible financing through CareCredit. You can also choose to apply for our in-house dental savings plan if you prefer, which is a great way to avoid the high expenses that come with private dental insurance while also receiving discounts on available treatment options.
